Formal Fundraising Assistance

In the last 3 years, Luceo has assisted 40 organisations to submit formal applications of which 31 where successful (overall success rate of 78%!) Support secured for these charities range from R52k to R4.8m.

 

We are selective in which charities / projects we take on for these formal funding applications. If we proceed, the work is typically undertaken on a consultancy (i.e. time and materials) basis.

 

The process to complete formal applications normally entails:

• Market research to identify funders. Some charities undertake this and start the Luceo engagement when they have identified a lead they want to pursue

• Project selection with the charity - to decide which project to submit

• Working on positioning of the charity & the project - possibly reviewing the TOC

• Budget work

• Gathering partners & experts

• Repeat until all rounds of the process has been completed.​
